CBRG Minibog in the Beaty Museum

CBRG donated a minibog for the interpreters at the Beaty Biodiversity Museum.

Constructed as a bog "potluck" during an October work party, minibog has native bog plants with invasives.

Recently four little sundews germinated (look closely to see them above), but they're not ready to eat mosquitos yet.  The museum is home to a collection of two million specimens including this Blue Whale skeleton, collected from the shores of Prince Edward Island.
